About Djamila

"What doesn't come from the heart
can never reach another heart."

For over 10 years now, Djamila has devoted her love and passion to Oriental
dance and the Egyptian style of dance especially.Her dancing career has been
accompanied by numerous internationally renowned teachers who have nurtured
and shaped her talent and natural flair for music over the years.
The result: a technically perfect and expressive dancer.

Her distinctive style - feminine, elegant, powerful and dynamic - can hold a
candle to renowned female dancers from the Arabic-speaking and western
world.

Djamila lives in Frankfurt a.M. / Germany and is a full-time dancer, teacher
and choreographer of Oriental dance (bellydance). She is owner of her own
dance studio Orient Academy, one of the biggest bellydance-studios in
Europe.

Her international dance and teaching career has already taken her to
such countries as Japan, USA, Brazil, India, Hungary, Spain, Finland,
Poland, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey and Egypt.
